What is 503B compounding?

The FDA has designated 503B compounding pharmacies as those with outsourcing facilities that may manufacture large batches with or without prescriptions to be sold to healthcare facilities for office use only. These facilities are allowed to use larger batches to lower their manufacturing costs, passing the savings onto consumers.

Quality is Our Focus

Compound Preferred values quality and customer safety above all other aspects around production. We employ a philosophy of quality by ensuring exemplary-finished products through:

  • Sourcing of quality materials and ingredients from trusted suppliers
  • Properly maintaining and monitoring the ISO 5 and ISO 7 environments
  • Performing product inspection, testing, and release to meet and surpass FDA requirements.

We’ve built our business on confidence in quality because our customers deserve quality and perfection, nothing less.

Ready to Become a Partner?

We specialize in custom solutions, aliquoting and shortages. We are already helping many customers by providing custom-unit dosing options that previously haven’t been offered from other 503B facilities. These custom options have allowed our current clients to reduce medication waste and ultimately save money.
